And Thank Hephaestus for it. Because I want to own a +500hp MR car someday, and stickin an LS in one of these is one of my only realistic options.

Sounds like a quick and efficient death.

Sticking 500HP into something that didn't have it in the first place is always going to be inviting a quick and efficient death...

...Unless that something is grounded to the ground of course.

But a 500hp Fiero ... I'd name the car Kevorkian.

The only reason the Fiero got built was because it was touted as a "fuel-efficient, sporty commuter car" internally. That's why it shares so many components with GM's other compacts as the Fiero was just another economy car notch on GM's belt. If they had the intention of making it a true sports car from the get-go, it could have been a game changer IMO.

I'd swap a rotary into one of these, but that's just me.

Well, it depends on who you're referring to as "they." Pontiac wanted it to be a sports car, but the only way they could get the green light was to make it an econo car. At least in '88 they got it right.

Swapping a rotary into something sounds like doing things backwards.
